Overview Provide a professional level of management through strong claim knowledge, leadership attributes, and interpersonal skills. This role is responsible for the daily results and operations of an Auto Property Liability team for a third party client. Candidate will manage claim inventory to ensure compliance with all applicable procedures, laws, regulations for the applicable venue(s) being serviced. Key Responsibilities: Monitors, directs and reports on claim performance and results for positive and negative trends. Monitors and responds to deficiencies in workflow or quality and works with peers to suggest and establish work process improvements. Monitors and ensures compliance with claim handling guidelines. Monitors attendance and punctuality of team members. Coaches, mentors, and develops staff by preparing and administering performance feedback to associates via Performance Development Plans and Dynamic Objectives. Provides technical direction and authority on files as necessary. Conducts quarterly audits on Claim Representatives to ensure accurate handling of claims. Assists with complex claim liability and coverage decisions. Reviews and disseminates procedure changes and updates to team, ensures understanding. Assists with additional office operations as requested. Requirements: Position will require incumbent to work overtime 1-2 years previous experience 1-2 years previous leadership experience Complete all applicable training Fulfill state licensing and continuing education requirements as applicable (must resident adjuster license or equivalent) Job may require travel overnight via commercial transportation or driving motor vehicles to any office locations where the Company does business, or other locations to conduct/attend training, conferences, meetings, and/or seminars Must possess an excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, high initiative, and a proven ability to meet required deadlines. Must be organized and able to quickly identify problematic areas of concern. Must be patient and always maintain a professional demeanor. Ability to effectively train associates on existing and new claim handling procedures as required. Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and changing environment, have initiative and the ability to work with others towards a common goal. Use of PC working with company s software and Internet programs.
