Loss Control Representative - Omaha, NE

Growing Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking a Loss Control Consultant for their Omaha Nebraska operation.  You will work out of your home office and report to the Omaha office, servicing accounts primarily in Nebraska and a bit in South Dakota.  Candidates will be responsible for providing safety and loss control service for a wide variety of commercial multiline risks. 

Other duties include:

• Will prepare safety surveys, conduct safety audits, provide loss control training, and assess the safety needs of the members.
• Write reports and recommendations utilizing nationally recognized safety standards such as OSHA, ANSI and NFPA based on surveys of facilities. 
• Communicate in writing and orally with clients on any safety issues and concerns.
• Conduct classroom and hands on training. 
• Develop training programs relating to member requests, and program needs.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a commercial lines multiline Loss Control Representative in a Property and Casualty Insurance carrier.
• 4 year college degree is required. 
• Strong all lines experience important, particularly in workers' compensation
• CSP or CSM certification is preferred 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Valid Nebraska Driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Good oral and written communications skills
• Extensive travel required
