Insurance Sales Producer (Base Salary + Commission)

The Windward Insurance Agency is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Insurance Producer to join our sales team.

Successful candidates will be self-motivated, possess good interpersonal skills and are able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Candidates must also be able to sell new and renewal auto, property and other personal lines insurance, as well as identify account rounding, cross selling and upselling opportunities.

The ideal candidate must be sales oriented, outgoing, persistent and have excellent phone skills. Prior sales experience and a customer service background is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Develops new sales opportunities and closes sales
• Develops ongoing networking relationships with small business owners such as Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders and Auto Dealers
• Quotes and sells both auto and home insurance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty license
• 1 year sales experience
• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Demonstrated successful track record of meeting sales goals and quotas
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening.
• Ability to open doors and network to bring in new clients
• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
• Maintains a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day
• Experience with Quote Rush is a plus
• Commercial lines experience is a plus
