DataStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse (Prior Approvals) for one of our direct clients in Raleigh, NC. This is a long term contract, 12+ months. Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, first shift hours (8:00am - 5:00pm). *No nights or weekends* This opportunity offers full benefits, including paid time off and paid holidays. Essential Job Functions Claims and utilization review Assisting with prior approvals for Medicaid. Required Skills 1+ years of experience with reviewing insurance claims, prior approvals. Strong customer service skills. Strong communication skills. Experience with initiating customer service skills over the telephone. Ability to adequately manage time. DME-highly desirable. Required Certifications Licensed Registered Nurse Work Environment Office environment This position is available as a W2 position with competitive benefits package .
