Title:Enrollment RepresentativeJob Summary:The Outreach and Enrollment Representative will work to provide outreach opportunities for community residents who lack access to healthcare and health insurance, provide enrollment and application follow-up. Increase health insurance coverage and access to quality primary health, dental, and behavioral care for community residents. Reports to:Outreach and Enrollment Manager Supervision Exercised:None Education/Education/License/Certification:Must have a High School Degree or GED Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.1. Two or more years of experience working with programs and services intended for low-income, underserved populations.2. Knowledge of Colorado Indigent Care Program (CICP), Family and Adult Medicaid and Children s Health Plan+ (CHP+), and insurance programs is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.3. Work experience demonstrating strong ability in the following areas: leadership, advocacy, communication skills both written and verbal, resource research, creative problem solving, and sensitivity/responsiveness to varying cultural characteristics and beliefs.4. Valid driver s license and auto insurance as required by law.5. Conversational Spanish preferred.6. Ability to work independently.7. Excellent interpersonal skills8. Essential to have customer service experience including working with people in one on-one and group settings.9. Essential to have ability to understand verbal information, to exchange verbal information with others, and to present information verbally.10. Ability to explain and summarize detailed concepts like Medicaid enrollment process or essential health benefits in a way the general population can understand.11. Essential to have the ability to read and understand written materials and to compose information/instruction in written form.12. Essential to have the ability to prioritize and be organized.13. Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems, and objectives.14. Essential to be to able reason mathematically and to have analytical and problem solving skills.15.
