Our Portland office is looking for a Practice Director to join their growing and dynamic team. The Practice Director (PD) develops and manages a highly successful team while providing oversight of all operational aspects of the practice. The Practice Director assures the team s adherence to Woodruff-Sawyer s values, creating best practices to establish consistency in work processes and client deliverables. In addition, the individual partners effectively with Account Executives to align our services with our key differentiators and technology solutions.What you'll be doing: Oversee day to day Regional operations, contributing to strategic areas that impact the over-all growth and profit of the Region. Identify vital areas of improvement and coordinate with Senior Leaders throughout the company and within the Region to prioritize and implement key initiatives. Lead a high performance team that demonstrates trust, commitment, open communication, accountability and strong results: create strong camaraderie and team spirit; assist in building our brand as an employer of choice Manage the recruiting process in conjunction with HR; develop/implement initial new hire training plan and assure training is complete and effectively Effectively define and communicate team standards, roles and responsibilities; work with Practice Leader (PL) to provide ongoing communication and feedback; hold regular team meetings and provide specific, honest and tactful feedback. Oversee goal setting and performance management processes within established timeframes for assigned staff; effectively write and conduct reviews; manage salary and bonus recommendations Provide coaching, mentoring and training to maximize career development of team; establish and administer formal training/career development plans utilizing both internal and external resources to provide training Manage Practice budget, working with Practice Leader to align budget with priorities and key initiatives.
