The primary job function of this position is handling inbound calls from Knight Insurance Group Customers. CSR's are responsible for ensuring that customers receive excellent service while answering their questions and concerns. Our CSR's also interact with other departments and management to troubleshoot questions or concerns posed by our customers. CSR must have the ability to deal with challenging situations patiently while seeking solutions. The ability to multitask and work independently is essential in this fast paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the insurance claims team by initiating new claims being reported via phone, email fax or mail.
- Assisting Customers with inquiries on existing claims.
- Indexing and uploading correspondence received via fax, e-mail
- Assisting with requests made by Claims Adjuster Staff
- Special Projects as assigned
- Handle high volume of inbound calls
- Provide customers with accurate account information
- Transfer calls to appropriate department or staff
- Identify, research, and resolve customer’s concerns
- Document all claims thoroughly
- Communicate professionally with internal and external customers and management \ co-workers
Job Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in an insurance or customer service call center.
- Bilingual preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED, some college a plus
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel
- Type a minimum of 40 WPM
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and well-organized
- Full-time position, M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Good communication, listening and problem-solving skills
- Basic to intermediate computer knowledge
- Reliable attendance
- Proper grammar and email etiquette
- Ability to work under time constraints and daily deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate commensurate with experience and skills.
