We’re Colorado Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company (CFBMIC) and we’re looking for an engaged, pro-active, “get-it-done” District Claims Manager in our State Office located in Centennial, Colorado. In times of chaos and loss our insureds count on our Claims Team to save the day; our Claims Managers lead teams of Adjusters who investigate and settle property and casualty claims varying from auto fender benders to structural storm, and fire damage.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of claims experience 
  • AIC designation
  • Litigation Management and/or Supervisory experience a plus
  • Clean driving record (no DUI’s / minimal points off)

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise claim personnel in assigned district and maintain periodic personal contact with claims team
  • Settle, direct or authorize settlement of claims
  • Set & maintain reserves on claim files
  • Recruit, train, mentor and evaluate Claim Representatives
  • Manage litigation files
  • Assist with departmental projects
