Operations Manager - Group Employee Benefits - Greenville SC

In this large insurance agency you have dotted line responsibility for the entire support team including account managers, analysts, technology specialists, administrative associates and shared services. In close partnership with the President, you’ll focus on the efficiency of day-to-day service operations with strategic input on programs and infrastructure. Strong people management experience is the top priority. Your strengths must be in mentoring, coaching, evaluation and team development.
Experience Required for This Role:
- Management- Human Resources; Supervision over non-sales staff, employee development, performance management, recruiting and hiring.
- Group Employee Benefits Insurance- Knowledgeable with plan design, rating, underwriting analysis, the RFP process, enrollments and ongoing administration
- Operations- Develop and monitor workflows, reviews policies and procedures, maintain proper compliance. Monitors technology utilization (BenefitPoint, Vertafore, SalesForce).
