Position Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting the CSR, CSA, and/or Account Manager in the servicing of Commercial Lines accounts. In performing these duties the position is expected to meet the agency’s defined Standard of Excellence for client service, professionalism and work attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes some or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Assist the CSR, CSA, and/or Account Manager with the timely quoting, placement, and proposal preparation for new and renewal business serviced by the CSR, CSA, and/or Account Manager.

2. Maintain system records and customer files in an up-to-date and orderly manner to ensure that the paper file and data in the agency management system coincide.

3. Prepare policy materials for the CSR, CSA, and/or Account Managers, and/or Producers. (Policy checking).

4. Follow agency Standards of Excellence and Best Practices procedures for processing and preparation of customer correspondence, certificates of insurance, binders, cancellation requests, insurance ID cards, and internal correspondence as requested. Ensure that activities and follow-ups are set and the client file in the agency management system is updated.

5. Miscellaneous typing, photocopying, data entry, and filing as assigned.

6. Performs in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.

7. Prepare invoices for payment of premiums. Post payments to the appropriate policy.

8. Utilize insurance company web sites for extracting loss runs, claims status reports, and policy download information.

9. Run the monthly expiration report and producer renewal instructions. Collate, distribute, and maintain annual expiration logbook.

10. Prepare new claim reports, set appropriate activities, and follow-ups.

11. Perform other duties in support of the office as requested by the Branch Manager.

Education and/or Experience:

Some college or significant Insurance Industry related experience; or combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Arizona P&C Insurance License required.
