Position:

Our Oregon/Washington offices are looking for qualified individuals to be Independent Contractors. We are proud to be adding more staff to our already very stable long term professional adjusting staff as we continue to grow in our market area.

  • Position is Part-Time.  Ideal for a Semi-Retired Insurance Professional Adjuster.
  • Require minimum of Five years experience in Property, Auto and Casualty claims handling.
  • Cities covered in Oregon include Portland, Salem, Eugene and all surrounding communities.
  • Cities covered in Washington include Vancouver and all surrounding communities.
  • The ability to speak Spanish as a second language would be ideal, though not necessary.
  • Prior experience working as an Independent Adjuster is preferred.

Employer will respond only to applicants who possess ALL of the critical skills listed below. The qualified candidate must be able to demonstrate skills and experience with all software listed below and must live within the area covered by the offices listed above.

Requirements: 

  • Knowledge and Experience of Liability, Casualty, Property, Auto and Heavy Equipment Claims Handling in a dedicated market area. This position is not for CAT storm chasers wanting to travel away from home.
  • A qualified Adjuster experienced in 2 or 3 of the above noted claim types, and willing to be trained to handle the remaining, will be considered.
  • Top notch customer service skills are required.
  • Must have dependable transportation.
  • Must be available and willing to handle 24-hour call outs for accidents in all types of weather and traffic conditions.
  • Must be in overall good physical health. During inspections need to be able to climb on ladders without fear of roof height, willingness to enter crawl spaces and attics, bend and lift 40lbs.
  • Writing Property Estimates in Xactimate and Appraisals in Audatex and Truck Writer.
  • Must be able to compose detailed, spelling and grammatically correct reports, and communicate well with all types of people in various situations.
  • Must have intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office and use of the Internet. 
  • Required to be a licensed Adjuster in Washington and Oregon or able to obtain license within 30 days, if offered a position.
