Business Development Manager – Multi-line Claims Adjusting

Location: Florida or Georgia (Preferably near a metro area – Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, or Orlando)
Compensation: $100,000 to $200,000 (Base + Commission)

A leading provider of multi-line claims adjusting services across the Southeast and Central U.S. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand its presence in Florida and Georgia. With over 20 years of experience serving insurance carriers, law firms, self-insured entities, and government clients, this firm delivers top-tier claims support in areas like property, casualty, complex losses, subrogation, and appraisals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives to increase revenue

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities with insurance carriers, MGAs, TPAs, and self-insureds

  • Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients to increase service utilization

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery

  • Lead contract negotiations to align agreements with company goals

  • Travel as needed to meet with clients and represent the company at industry events

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience, ideally within the insurance or independent adjusting industry

  • Prior experience with an independent adjusting firm is highly desirable

  • Background in insurance adjusting a plus—adjusters with strong business development skills are encouraged to apply

  • Proven track record in negotiation, relationship management, and closing deals

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel regionally

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

  • Base Salary: $55,000 annually

  • Commission: 5–7% based on new business (Total potential compensation: $100,000 to $200,000+)

  • Mileage Reimbursement: Paid monthly at IRS rate
