Location: Florida or Georgia (Preferably near a metro area – Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, or Orlando)
Compensation: $100,000 to $200,000 (Base + Commission)

A leading provider of multi-line claims adjusting services across the Southeast and Central U.S. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand its presence in Florida and Georgia. With over 20 years of experience serving insurance carriers, law firms, self-insured entities, and government clients, this firm delivers top-tier claims support in areas like property, casualty, complex losses, subrogation, and appraisals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives to increase revenue

Identify and engage new business opportunities with insurance carriers, MGAs, TPAs, and self-insureds

Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients to increase service utilization

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery

Lead contract negotiations to align agreements with company goals

Travel as needed to meet with clients and represent the company at industry events
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred

5+ years of business development or sales experience, ideally within the insurance or independent adjusting industry

Prior experience with an independent adjusting firm is highly desirable

Background in insurance adjusting a plus—adjusters with strong business development skills are encouraged to apply

Proven track record in negotiation, relationship management, and closing deals

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel regionally
Compensation, Benefits & Perks

Base Salary: $55,000 annually

Commission: 5–7% based on new business (Total potential compensation: $100,000 to $200,000+)

Mileage Reimbursement: Paid monthly at IRS rate
