We have an immediate opening for an Assistant Account Manager (Commercial Lines) with the Global Energy Practice’s account service hub in Boston, MA. The Assistant Account Manager will work directly with the Account Manager and Producer / Account Executive to help manage a book of business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Manager through process of building submissions and marketing coverage for each client.
  • Participate in client presentation meeting, if needed.
  • Issuance of all insurance related documentation in a timely accurate organized fashion such as:
  • Binders of Insurance and attachments
  • Financing Insurance Premiums
  • Certificates of Insurance and attachments
  • Auto IDs
  • Invoices and all corrections
  • Surplus Lines Filings
  • Policy Issuance and Maintaining Records
  • Set up and maintain online database for each client.
  • Obtain and process Finance Agreements.
  • Work with carriers and account manager for timely issuance of invoices, policies, endorsements and other policy documentation.
  • Day-to-day correspondence with clients on administrative issues relating to their account.
  • Assistance with office management duties.
  • Limited travel may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Background in insurance preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Experience with AMS 360 and ImageRight preferred.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Must work towards broker license within 2 years
