Summary:
Provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to clients, producers and company
personnel in a professional and positive manner. Handle all tasks associated with
obtaining, maintaining, platform training, expanding and servicing existing appointed
producers. Support company growth by working with producers, management, and
other personnel on special projects or duties as directed. This position is expected to
develop in to a field representative where he/she will be projected to perform office
visits and develop relationships with agencies and their staff.
Essential Functions:
- Staying in contact with current producers and develop a professional relationship for mutual growth, development and client retention.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments with prospective producers, identify producer/customer needs and market appropriate products and services.
- Setup, prepare and maintain new account files in AMS per agency procedures.
- Keep producers fully informed of all important activities on their accounts AND new Volta products and/or any product changes
- Identify book roll opportunities
- Assist with marketing budget tracking
- Measure and report on project deliverables, effectiveness of communication activities /events
- Recommend website design and operation.
- Assist in email marketing campaigns.
- Assist with creating and updating Marketing calendar for corporate events, sponsorship, conferences, etc. to ensure coordinated scheduling and messaging
Performance Expectations:
- Alert management of incidents that may require management assistance or approval.
- Respond to phone calls and e-mails within acceptable time-frame not to exceed 24 hours.
- Maintain current, consistent, detailed documentation on all client activity, phone conversations, and correspondence in AMS.
- Prioritize workload and request assistance as necessary to reduce backlog.
- Participate with management and other departments/personnel on special projects and other duties as needed.
- Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent is required, college degree
- preferred.
- Active P&C License required – (or willing to obtain)
- Professional designation is a plus.
- Good listening skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential.
- Minimum 1 year P&C Experience / Knowledge of commercial insurance and products.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative/marketing experience.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to establish and meet tight deadlines, change directions when necessary and manage multiple projects at once
