Risk Management Consultant - Property and Casualty Insurance

Position Summary
Review policies and operations with our insureds and works with underwriters to implement corrective action plans if necessary. Ensure customers have access to effective risk management tools and knowledge. Evaluate the effectiveness of the company's internal control framework in addressing risks and accomplishing the company’s goals and objectives. Occasional travel to visit with insureds and producers, servicing policyholders in all 50 states and territories. This position requires exceptional professionalism, good time management and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and effective communication skills.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform safety and policy reviews with insureds, making sure that they understand their coverages and fixing any gaps.
- Conduct onsite visits with insureds and producers.
- Develop partnerships with our insureds, our producers, and personnel in other departments.
- Monitor individual risks and risk classes for trends and issues.
Position Requirements
- Previous insurance industry experience and terminology knowledge preferred but not required.
- Previous experience with front line customer and client interactions.
- College degree from an accredited institution preferred but not required.
- Strong computer skills (Including Microsoft Office Suite).
- Spanish language skills strongly desired – but not required.
