The Commercial Lines Small Account Manager is the service “gatekeeper” between the client and the agency once an account is written. In this role, the AM will manage all details of the client’s insurance relationship. The AM will be responsible for retention of the existing clients, rounding of accounts, certificates and client satisfaction.
Position Summary
- Handle daily communications among clients, producers, and underwriters
- Maintain agency system/applications with current information
- Addressing Customer Inquiries regarding their Insurance Coverages
- Processing Insurance Applications, Endorsements, Binders, Quotes, Rating, etc.
- Bringing Accounts to Market with Insurance Carriers
- Issues COI’s, binders, ID Cards for new and existing client
- Some Claims Reporting and Follow-up between Insurance Carrier and Insured
- Overseeing all aspects of a diverse book of business
Qualified Insurance Applicants should have but not required:
- Working Knowledge of Commercial Insurance (such as; contractors, manufacturers, BOPs, Work Comp, Retail, Habitational, E&O, E&S, Professional Liability, General Liability, etc)
- Familiarity with Insurance Industry Software (such as; Applied System, TAM Online, EPIC
- Working Knowledge of Marketing Process / Online Quoting Software of Insurance Carriers (such as; Hartford, Travelers, Chubb, CNA, Hanover, Selective, etc)
- Ability to service incoming personal lines requests as needed
