VP Annuity Salles & Marketing

This position reports to the SVP and Chief Marketing Officer and is responsible for the management and leadership of the (Annuity) sales for the organization. The role will lead all marketing and distribution efforts to drive annuity sales growth. The VP will develop strategy, execute the business plan and develop our annuity sales capabilities.

  • To be qualified you MUST have at least 7-8+ years of (Annuity) sales experience

Essential Functions

  • Building on our strategy to grow annuity sales
  • Leading our regional sales directors, internal wholesalers and various business units outside of our sales teams
  • Execution and accountability of our performance and business model
  • Enhance our sales culture
  • Talent Development – sales development of our managers and consultants
  • Ensuring programs contribute to brand health, while providing sales with the selling tools needed to outperform the competition in key markets.
  • Effectively manage the budget; communicate programs to distributors; evaluate execution and provide feedback to the marketing organization.
  • Developing key annuity marketing alliances and overseeing special events.
  • Able to persuade and influence effectively
  • Culturally astute and able to understand unique aspects of marketing to groups with diverse needs and preferences

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 8+  years with (Annuity) marketing and/or business selling experience

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Communications or other relevant field
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience is preferred. 
  • Prior insurance experience is required

Licenses & Certifications

  • CLU, CFP, or ChFC desirable
  • Completion of LOMA insurance courses I and II required within first year of employment.
