The Imaging Specialist is primarily responsible for performing documentation preparation for manual Data Entry and scanning essential documents resulting in clear images.

Duties will include:


  • Scan documents using high volume, high production equipment. Resulting in clear, legible and complete images.
  • Assist in piloting new processes and provide feedback to ensure successful implementation.
  • Create and publish reports that aid in management production tracking with minimum guidance from management.
  • Re-assemble documents back to their original condition after scanning as required.
  • Assure all imaged client submissions are complete representations of what was sent.
  • Disposing of hard copy documents in adherence to the Assurant Record Retention Schedule
  • Maintain and ensure optimal performance of scanning hardware and software and troubleshoot errors as necessary.

Data Entry Remitting

  • Responsible for all new mail sorting, document preparation for manual entry, indexing, final preparation of hard copy documents for scanning.
  • Follow proper remitting production procedures ensuring the client statement and billing are correct at Month End.
  • Perform quality checks on all documents before scanning and prep records to a high-level accuracy and correct any quality issues as needed.
  • Detect image errors and determine the cause of the errors during the quality checks.
  • Create and publish reports that aid in management production tracking with minimum guidance from management.

Required Education, Certifications, and Experience:

  • High School degree
  • Intermediate PC knowledge
  • Ability to lift 5 to 10 lbs of mail or documents

Desired Education, Certification and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • 1 year of Salesforce experience

  • Ability to work positively in a demanding, high volume, fast-paced, team-oriented student service environment both independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well on a team with creativity, patience, and perseverance.
