General Placement Service is currently recruiting for a highly rated insurance carrier for a Reinsurance Director that can oversee all treaty work for the company.
This position will handle procurement of treaty reinsurance (NO FAC), but must be creative in the art of the reinsurance deal. My client is not interested in common or simplistic experience in reinsurance. They want someone who loves to work a creative, innovative, and complex reinsurance deal from start to finish. This role will, within 30 days of hire, be tasked with reviewing and giving input on improving data and work flows in the reinsurance department. This is as much a hit the ground running role as you will ever find.
Qualifications include 8-10 years of treaty reinsurance experience in a complex environment with a fast paced operating speed. Experience closing sophisticated projects is key with broad line knowledge. High preference for candidates with more broker experience than carrier experience.
