IA Channel / InsurTech Marketing Super-Star

This is the best marketing job in a $200B industry.  You will be in the absolute middle of the action, center-stage of the independent agency channel.  The Trusted Choice network is 20,000 independent insurance agencies strong; 60+ national and regional insurance companies; 300,000 insurance professionals.  It doesn’t get any bigger than this if you want to make a positive contribution in front of a whole industry.

If you have been looking for the ideal platform to show off your marketing ideas, skills and passions, this is it.

You will be a leader / rock-star on tight-knit and innovative team responsible for telling the world the story of TrustedChoice.com  and our products and services, all of which center on empowering independent agents and IA companies in the digital age.  You will be charged with crafting the strategy and hands-on execution of all our messaging and marketing to the entire insurance industry.

This is a high-profile, high-visibility, high-impact, high-expectations and most of all hands-on leadership role.  It requires hard work and a broad base of skills in multiple marketing disciplines:

We are looking for a prolific and talented content creator to write and produce various types of downloadable content and blog regularly, to expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads. This part of the role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

We are looking for an amazing, data-driven marketer to own the majority of the marketing funnel for our company. You will be in charge of attracting attention, converting that attention into new opportunities for the business, and nurturing those opportunities into customers, the latter of which sales leadership will help you accomplish.

We need someone who knows email marketing campaign management. Do you live to see those open and clickthrough rates climb higher and higher? You'll be expected to develop and track email campaigns to ultimately increase our business' email marketing success.

Is video marketing your strength?  Excellent, you will need those skills.  We are big believers in the power of video.  Our sister company, Agency Nation, produces the best video in the insurance industry and we expect the same from ourselves.

Do you tweet, share, and post to social media in your sleep? You need to be a social media savy person to manage our social media accounts by implementing strategies and tactics that grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into opportunities, customers, and active fans and promoters of our company. You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.

Responsibilities:

Together with the product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders about our product features and their benefits.

Create product content (e.g. sales enablement documentation, case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts, Quora/forum responses) to articulate the benefits of our products to the world.

Assist members of our sales team on calls with prospects when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product.

Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our products.

Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including videos, blog posts, white-papers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).

Grow new opportunities, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).

Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.

Write, direct, edit and produce video content for use in all our marketing campaigns.

Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.

Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.

Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, etc.).

Grow our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests.

Grow our email lists organically and manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends.

Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).

Measure results and optimize the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into customers.

Requirements:

Past experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and/or product management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- there is a heavy amount of writing and presenting/selling ideas in this role.

Video production and editing expertise.

Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.

Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers.

Proficiency in marketing automation systems, e.g. HubSpot, ActiveCampaign and especially SalesForce.com and integrating those systems with other technologies.

Proficiency in content management systems. You will be expected to build product pages, optimize the conversion paths on those pages, and use dynamic calls-to-action to create and test buyer stage-specific calls-to-action.

Required familiarity: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite.

Past experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analytics.
