Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Research and document workers’ compensation bill review laws and guidelines in all 50 states, plus MCO, HCP compliance, pre-authorization and utilization review guidelines
- Demonstrates competence in abstracting requirements by analyzing and interpreting medical information on medical records, UB-92s, and 1500 forms
- Demonstrates competence in coding requirements by analyzing and interpreting medical information so that accuracy rate for coding bills will be 95% or above
- Provide recommendations for claim handling and resolution
- Review claims for quality assurance

Requirements:
- Certification through AAPC or CCA and at least three years of medical coding experience
- Trained in ICD10

- Pre-Authorizations/Utilization Review experience
- Medicare experience
