The Property Claims Adjuster position is an in-house (desk) independent adjuster position with Florida Peninsula Claims Services (FPCS), a division of Florida Peninsula Insurance. The Property Claims Adjuster will be responsible for the prompt handling and thorough investigation of 1st party homeowner claims that involve theft losses, additional living expense, loss assessment claims, lightning damage claims and other claims that are handled in-office.
Duties include:
- timely identification and analysis of cause of loss
- resolution of coverage issues
- communication with field adjusters, policyholders and other parties
- preparation of Xactimate estimates for contents and other damages
- preparation of reports and correspondence, including payment letters and denial letters
Requirements:
- High School diploma required. College degree preferred.
- Florida Adjuster’s License is required.
- 3+ year’s first party homeowner’s claims adjustment experience preferred.
- Must have strong estimating skills and be proficient with Xactimate.
- Must have strong skills with Microsoft Office, including Word & Excel.
This position is a full-time salaried position located at our Boca Raton office.
