The Property Claims Adjuster position is an in-house (desk) independent adjuster position with Florida Peninsula Claims Services (FPCS), a division of Florida Peninsula Insurance.  The Property Claims Adjuster will be responsible for the prompt handling and thorough investigation of 1^st party homeowner claims that involve theft losses, additional living expense, loss assessment claims, lightning damage claims and other claims that are handled in-office.

Duties include:

• timely identification and analysis of cause of loss
• resolution of coverage issues
• communication with field adjusters, policyholders and other parties
• preparation of Xactimate estimates for contents and other damages
• preparation of reports and correspondence, including payment letters and denial letters

Requirements:

• High School diploma required. College degree preferred.
• Florida Adjuster’s License is required.
• 3+ year’s first party homeowner’s claims adjustment experience preferred.
• Must have strong estimating skills and be proficient with Xactimate.
• Must have strong skills with Microsoft Office, including Word & Excel.

            This position is a full-time salaried position located at our Boca Raton office.
