The Sales Support is a key member of the Homeowners of America sales team that is committed to supporting our valued Independent Agents. As a Trusted Advisor to our Independent Agents the position is expected to leverage HOAIC products and services to help our agents build and retain their business.
 

The Sales Support position is a business to business sales role that requires the position to work with existing HOAIC agents.Knowledge of independent insurance agency operations and personal lines insurance, with an emphasis on property is preferred for this position.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Aiding achievement of the sales plan through managing assigned distribution.
  • Develop expert understanding of HOAIC products and philosophies in multiple states.
  • Train assigned agencies on HOAIC products, services and systems for growth of business
  • Work collaboratively with Underwriters, Sales Management and Product Management to foster a team oriented business approach with agency partners.
  • Establish strong producer relationships through high frequency of virtual customer contact
  • Effectively articulate and position the overall HOAIC Value Proposition.


EDUCATION/COURSE OF STUDY:
4 year college degree or equivalent related business experience

WORK EXPERIENCE:
2+ years insurance marketing or sales responsibility

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Exceptional verbal and written skills; active listening skills and virtual presentation skills

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Effectively utilizes available office technology and internet applications including MS Suite; (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other proprietary business applications
