We are currently seeking to fill the following position in our beautiful downtown San Diego office overlooking Petco Park (100% company-paid parking).

Product Analyst – Non-Standard Auto Insurance Claims

Job Requirements:

Strategic and product portfolio analyst responsible for analyzing and reporting results for designated insurance products in designated market.
This role will provide analysis and recommendations throughout the organization across a wide range of functions (marketing, customer research, legal, sales and market management, IT, claims, underwriting and actuarial).

More specific requirements:

•  Prefer 2 or more years with Product Analysis experience
•  Prefer 5 or more years overall Insurance experience
•  Experience in the states of Florida, Texas, Georgia and      California are a plus
•  Strong analytical skills a must
•  Skilled problem solver
•  Strong interpersonal sills
•  Knowledge of the insurance industry and competitors
•  Bachelor’s degree
•  Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills a must
•  Strong data mining and SQL skills preferred

Responsibilities:

•  Monitors product growth, retention, loss ratio and mix of business within designated markets
•  Develop/enhance report process for appropriate measurement of product results
•  Designs and completes competitive analysis for assessing market position, pricing strategies and sales optimization
•  Identifies product features and rate plan modifications that drive profitable growth

Salary:

Very competitive base salary based on experience.
