Florida Peninsula Insurance Company is looking for a full-time licensed Sales Agent / Quoting Specialist.
The Sales Agent will prepare and present New Business Quotes to prospects calling the company’s new business quote call center.
The Sales Agent may also perform Quality Control of customer service calls and policy changes and record the outcome in the company’s database system. Will also assist with special projects, as assigned.
We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated knowledge of homeowner’s insurance coverage and exposure in order to accurately qualify prospects and accurately quote insurance rates. Must have ability to adapt to shifting priorities and effectively handle multiple projects/tasks with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Must have high level of attention to detail and accuracy in order to perform in a manner that prevents errors and omissions.
High school diploma required; some college preferred. Must have current 440 License; 220 License preferred
2+ years’ experience in homeowner’s insurance sales required.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Must have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy with strong MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) skills.
