Agency Account Manager Trainee – Multi Lines Dept
ProAssurance seeks an Agency Account Manager Trainee for its Birmingham, AL office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: reviewing applications, quote, bind, issue and invoice small commercial policies including but not limited to BOP, GL, WC, EPL and Cyber Liability - new and existing accounts, corresponding with company underwriters on placement of new and renewal accounts, providing summary of coverage(s) and certificates of insurance as requested, processing claims and work with claim adjusters as needed to expedite the claim, responsible for assisting the growth of ancillary policies to round out existing MPL accounts, and other duties as deemed necessary.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years commercial lines P&C insurance agency experience required.
- P&C license required.
- Experience with TAM/Applied agency system preferred.
- Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
